Our Principle Philosophy

I order to have a "stable, evolving company vision" and to provide "work which is needed and supports global companies", Konica Minolta Mechatronics works hard to raise the quality of its company through business operations and offers solutions to the issues facing businesses.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility activities are based on these management philosophies and the 'Konica Minolta Group Code of Conduct'.
As a foundation for both understanding and implementation, we have created a global "Konica Minolta Code of Conduct Guide" which is an overview of the preferred course of action for each topic. Our code of conduct outlines behavior which meets the principles of respecting international company standards such as the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights", starting with advocating the United Nations and Konica Minolta signing "Global Compact".

The Konica Minolta Group Code of Conduct

Corporations shall seek profitable business through fair competition, and strive to serve society as a whole. The Konica Minolta Group ensures that all its companies deeply understand the spirit of this code of conduct, and have good social sense.
Senior management acknowledges the duty and responsibility of implementing the overall ideas of the code of conduct. We also aim for thorough corporate ethics while creating an effective group structure and providing continuous understanding of in-house opinions.

1. The usefulness and safety of our products

We develop and offer services with a proper level of safety as well as products which are useful for society and meet the requests of consumers and users.

2. Impartial and transparent corporate activities

We shall respect all laws and social norms, act in accordance with international rules, articles of association and operate our business impartially and transparently.

3. The release of information to society and communities

We shall impartially and promptly display corporate information and undertake communication with society as a whole.

4. Environmental conservation

We shall work assertively and unilaterally toward environmental conservation and recognize the importance of global environmental issues.

5. Contributions to society

We shall hold a global outlook, respect regional cultures and customs and make proactive contributions to society.

6 Employee respect

We shall respect the individuality and character of our employees while ensuring we have provide an environment which easy to work in and provides space and substance for our employees.

7. Dealing with responsibilities

When issues reflected in this code of conduct arise, we shall work toward addressing those issues through stipulated compliance measures, upper management problem-solving, investigation to determine the cause and preventative measures. Also, we shall undertake strict procedures such as precise authority and responsibility in executing accountability and releasing prompt and accurate information to the public.

Our company holds information security management ISO27001, environmental management systems ISO14001 and quality control management system ISO9001 certificates which are international standard stipulated by the International Organization for Standardization in order to provide necessary and indispensable systems for continuous environmental conservation and quality control to satisfy our customers.

Green Factory Certification

Konica Minolta aims to implement highly effective processes which lower our environmental impact and reduce costs, minimize the use of resources and energy, and have utilized the "Green Factory Recognition System" since 2010 as a system to comprehensively evaluate environmentally friendly production.

Community Clean-Up

Our employees undertake periodic cleaning of the area around their place of work.

Eco-Cap training and Pull-tabs

We have held Eco Cap training since 2009.
We are also active in pull-tab collection activities through local schools.

Support Activities

We are a part of the Asahi Photo News company's "Let's Save the Earth!" initiative and gifted newspaper racks for children's newspapers at local schools.
